I dreamt in the night of August 11, 2011.
In the dream, a crowd of people was looking at a gorgeous jacket in awe, shouting “Bastong! Bastong!” I woke up the next morning, sketched out our brand logo and the story of Bastong began.
The logo was shaped after a sheep, symbolizing the year in which the founder of Bastong was born according to the Oriental Zodiac.
All products of Bastong are designed inhouse.
The manufacturing process of the Bastong products is also controlled internally thereby enabling Bastong to ensure the best-of-the-best quality down to the smallest of details.
The Standard Line is comprised of seven types of outers, designed and launched after 4 years’ of research and study from 2011 to 2014. In fact, they are more than mere outers to Bastong.The Standard Line is the signature line of Bastong that embodies the identity and directivity of the brand.
The Standard Line products are uniquely numbered from 001 to 007.
In 2014, the House Line was initiated as a new product line of Bastong to offer a deeper touch to daily life fashion, such as shirts, pants and denim.
Pitti Uomo, one of the world’s most important platforms for men’s clothing and accessory collections, boasts the longest and richest history in the world.
It is an exhibition for men’s clothing held twice yearly in Florence, Italy.
In Bastong’s first participation in Pitti Uomo in 2013, the brand was recognized for its competence in design and quality.
Through this platform, we were able to reach out to the world and export our products to Europe, the United States and Japan. Bastong has formed a solid partnership with buyers across the globe and continues to actively engage in global business.
